Itinerary:

Thu Oct 23rd – We will depart from the RaceTrac in Lavon at Highway 78 and 205 at 8:00.  Since we had to deviate our route from the After Tax ride when we ran into rain at highway 82 in Honey Grove, we are going to continue that route up across the Red River at Hugo to Antlers, where we will have lunch at Marcos Mexican Restaurant.  Once we get into Arkansas, we will stay on AR 23 (the Pig Trail) all the way to Eureka Springs.  The mileage is 413 mi and we should be in Eureka Springs around 5:00. We plan to have dinner at McGarity's Restaurant.

Fri Oct 24th – We will depart the motel at 8:00 where this day we will be visiting several interesting sites, including the Pea Ridge National Military Park, where the battle here was the most pivotal Civil War battle west of the Mississippi River and saved Missouri for the Union.  We will stop for lunch at Flat Creek Resort.  Then we have Roaring River State Park where they have a trout hatchery in a spring coming out of the mountain, Beaver Bridge, Magnetic Springs Falls, and Christ of the Ozarks statue before getting back around 4:30 with 227 miles.  We plan to have dinner at the Thai House Restaurant.

Sat Oct 25th – We will depart the motel at 8:00 and head north up AR 23 into Missouri to connect with MO 76 across the top of Branson.  Once we get across Highway 65 we will catch highway 125 to the Peel Ferry. After we get across, we will stop for lunch at the Anchor Pointe Restaurant, a place we have been riding by for several years and finally decided to check it out.   The ride for this day is 230 mi and we should be back by 2:30.  We plan to have dinner at McGarity's Restaurant.

Sun Oct 26th – We will depart at 8:00 and head for home the quickest way and will stop for lunch in Talihina, OK at El Rancho Mexican Grill.  It’s 372 mi and we should be back to Wylie by 4:30.
