2025 Coastal Loop Ride

On April 10-13 we will do our 4th Coast Loop Ride. We first did this ride in 2013 (Photos from 2013) and again in 2018 (Photos from 2018). They were both clockwise. We went again in 2023 (Photos from 2023) and it was counter-clockwise. This time we will ride it clockwise using the reverse of the 2023 ride. We will loop around Texas covering three very different areas of the state including the East Texas Piney Woods, the Texas Coastal Bend, and Hill Country. Total distance is about 1,300 miles over 4 days and includes a free ferry.
Day 1 (April 10) -
Depart at 8:00 AM April 10 from the west side of the Buc-ees in Terrell. Please have a full tank and be ready at that time. Come earlier if you want coffee or breakfast. We will loop around Lake Palestine on our way to Center for lunch. We will be heading through the Sabine National Forest and will continue to Winnie, where the route ends.

Day 2 (April 11) -
The route stays close to the coast with a stop in Galveston at the Pleasure Pier, a visit to Sea Center Texas, and lunch in Matagorda. We will spend the night in Corpus Christi.

Depart at 8 AM and head north towards Pearsall and on to Sabinal for lunch, then passing through Leakey, Campwood, and Rock Springs. We will spend the night in Junction.
