2015 Piney Woods Ride
Our next overnight group ride is coming up on September 19-20 through the east Texas Piney
Woods to Jasper, TX. We will leave from Alfredo's in Forney at 8:30 AM. Please have a full tank
and be ready at that time. Come earlier if you want breakfast.

Alfredo's to Jasper - 258 miles
This should be a great ride on a route to Jasper that I used with Rex and Dallas on a ride to Houston
for a January 1st 2012 sneak attack on our friends in the MTA Chapter 1 Club. We will take a scenic
ride to Jasper with a short break in Brownsboro and a lunch stop in Nacogdoches at Clear Springs
Restaurant.
We only have 180 miles after Brownsboro so most or all of us should be good the rest of the way if we
fuel-up at that time.

We will leave at 8:30 am on Sunday morning and will be enjoying more of the Piney Woods
as we head up to Ben Wheeler, TX and a lunch stop at Moore’s Store.
