2017 Ride to Mena

Ok Friends,

We scheduled this weekend overnight ride because this one got rained out last year. And we have decided to stay at the Sun Country Inn rather than try to get one night at the Queen Wilhimina lodge….which is now impossible for a weekend.

And at the meeting this Saturday, Rex went a head and called the Sun Country to block 12 rooms for one night…June 24^th.

So if you are interested….call Angela at the Sun Country and reserve one of the 12 rooms we have blocked under Rex Adams & the Lone Star Riders

All rooms are Downstairs except two.

Special rate of $86.00 plus tax

So the plan is to ride to the motel in Mena Saturday and then ride up to the Lodge for dinner….and peanut butter pie J And after dinner we can sit out on the lodge patio then ride back down the hill to the motel in Mena for the evening.....which provides a beautiful view of the lights of Mena.

Then Sunday morning we will ride back up to the Lodge for breakfast…..and then ride the Parkway all the way to the end at Talihina, OK. If the sun is shining, this is the most pleasureful and scenic ride on the Parkway. From there the route will take us to Antlers, Hugo and then Home.
