2017 Dying Leaves Ride to Eureka Springs - Nov 4-7

So this year we have decided to go back to Eureka Springs for a few days, since we have not been there in a few years. The idea is to ride to Eureka Springs, where we will be staying in the other Best Western which is right at the intersection of 62 and 23 going downtown. The main reason I chose this Best Western, is that it has a free breakfast. The other Best Western where we have stayed in past years has a nice restraint…so no free breakfast. And it’s interesting that they are priced about the same. And I chose to make the dates start on Saturday to help keep our cost down….as rates for Fri and Sat are much higher than the other week days.
Anyway, the plan is to take a nice day ride up over the top of Branson and down to Peels Ferry and then down to Harrison on to Ponca and the Lost Valley to see if we can spot some elk before heading back to Eureka Springs. Then that evening we’ll eat at the Bavarian Inn which is always enjoyable. But, Monday will be riders choice to park the bikes and jump on a trolley to explore Eureka Springs. Or maybe take a little jaunt over to Push Mountain? Then Tuesday we will head for the house.
So, I have 10 rooms (double beds) blocked under “Lone Star Riders” that you can call and have moved to your reservation. And if you need to change your room to a king bed, they can do that.
